Web Site Issues
Vulkan Blast Shot is a local Brantford manufacturer of non-rusting, stainless steel shot and grit, suitable for treatment of non-ferous metals, light alloys, natural stone and ceramics. Vulkan Blast Shot is a subsidiary of a German company, but they did not have their own web presence here in Canada. Without their own website they were not able to reach the Canadian market very effectively. They asked WebFire Designs to develop a new website for them, focused on the Canadian market, that would allow them to reach more Canadian customers.
Specific requirements included the ability to update site contents themselves as product info and specifications changed, and the ability to add upcoming trade shows and news to the home page of the site. Their parent company recently went through a major rebrand so this site design needed to be more inline with the main corporate site.
Our Web Design Solution
WebFire Designs designed and implemented a new web site for Vulkan Blast Shot that effectively promotes their products here in Canada and allows them to advertise upcoming tradeshows that they will be attending. The new site design matches the head office design. Each product is summarized effectively with photographs and detailed descriptions, and site visitors can download data sheets for each product. The use of a modern content management system makes it easy for employees to update the content of the site themselves with upcoming trade shows and other site content.
