Web Site Issues
Ontario Custom Glass supplies and installs glass panels for railings, showers, office dividers, doors and walls. Their old web site was very dated looking and did not properly represent the unique, high end products and services they provided. The images on the site were small and the photo galleries were not well designed. The site was not mobile friendly so it provided a very poor user experience on mobile devices and tablets. There was no administrative interface so it was not possible for staff at Ontario Custom Glass to update site content, or add new photos to the photo galleries without contacting their website designer, who was no longer building websites. This lack of support had become a significant issue for them.
Our Web Design Solution
We implemented a new web site design that is both modern, and mobile friendly creating a great user experience on desktop, tablet and mobile. The new site is built using a modern content management framework allowing for extensive customization of the site. It includes a back end admin interface that allows staff to update content, and add new photos to the photo galleries as necessary. The site also includes contact forms for customers to easily contact Ontario Custom Glass, and request a quote for work to be done. WebFire Designs provides ongoing technical support, web hosting, email, and security updates to the Ontario Custom Glass website to keep it as secure as possible.
