Cora Maid Services

Cora Maid Services, in Burlington, Ontario contacted WebFire Designs about performing search engine optimization (SEO) on their website, and then again a few months later to give their site a complete redesign. Their original site focused mainly on residential cleaning and they wanted the new site to reflect, and drive their expansion into the commercial cleaning sector.

Design Goals

The first goal was to improve the sites rankings on Google and increase traffic flow to the site by optimizing the site for the search engines.

Cora Maid Services’ existing site reflected the residential cleaning side of the business only. One of the goals was to redesign the site to focus on the expanding commercial cleaning business as well.

Another goal was to highlight the free estimate forms to encourage site visitors contact Cora Maid Services using those forms.

Technical Requirements

This site has a clean design and email contact forms for customers to request a free estimate via email.

Implementation

The site was designed using a CMS to allow for easy updates of site content using the built-in text editor. The design was a custom graphic design with a front page slideshow highlighting both the residential and commercial cleaning businesses.

Cora Maid Services now appears on page 1 of Google in local search for two very important keyword phrases, ‘maid services’ and ‘cleaning services.’
